Here are some examples of my previous work, spanning UX design, user research, service design and UI design
To develop a service that will allow citizens to be tested for the Coronavirus. Initially this service was designed and developed with 8 days to support London Ambulance Service employees wanting to get back to the frontline, but was then expanded to all key workers before being made available to all UK citizens.Goto case study
Offender Management in Custody is a new policy that spans both the Prison Service and Probation Service within England and Wales. This project was to support those based within both custody and the community adapting to these policy changes as well influence the policy intent.
At the centre of this policy was to further enhance the long term chances of prisoner rehabilitation by bringing offender interventions and case management from the community to within the prison.Goto case study
BBC iSite is one of the core CMS applications the BBC uses to power popular sites such as CBBC, CBeebies, Blogs, Programmes and Corporate. To visit friends and family whilst in prison within the UK visitors are able to book a prison visit online. In the 3 years since its initial launch, the Prison Visits Booking service has worked hard to release new features so that more prisons are able to deploy this service. This project was intended to review the current service proposition and to explore other methods that could better meet the needs of prisoners, visitors and prison staff.Goto case study
Just Eat are the market leading online takeaway service not only in the UK but in many of the international markets they are present in. Historically, the company has been lead by extremely talented software engineers. This meant that some key design decisions had been made using their own personal bias on how the product should behave and how it should serve its rapidly growing customer base.Goto case study
The previous Congestion Charge design was almost 8 years old. In that time, end user technology has evolved as well as user behaviours. My role at TfL was to be the UX design consultant for the redesigned site, implementing a User-Centered Design approach to the project.Goto case study
The previous Canon website was many years out of date and needed to be responsively redesigned. This was an opportunity to review how the existing online presence was performing and to better align to the evolving needs of Canon’s customer base. Focusing our efforts to prioritise certain segmentations, the redesigned site was intended to better serve professional photographers and IT managers who look to their online presence for inspiration and detailed product information.Goto case study

2020 has not turned out the way anyone had expected so far. Like so many others, all of our big plans for this year have unfortunately been put on hold. But let’s not pretend the Coronavirus has been just an inconvenience, it has been devasting to many.
After six weeks since I ran the London Marathon 2019, I thought it would be a good time to write down some thoughts that I have since that great day.
Tomorrow I will (hopefully) be running the 2019 London Marathon. To say that the event has taken over my life for the last 7 months is a little bit of an understatement.
